Greetings Dr. Mutegi,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Kwane Andrews. I am a high school science teacher in Brooklyn, NY working in an alternative transfer school. I have been following as well as been inspired by your work in culturally relevant science pedagogy. I also followed the Sankore blog. When I saw “The Influence of Hip Hop” article on Facebook it caught my interest then I saw your name and knew I had to read it. However I have not been able to locate the full article. What is the best way to access the article as well as other Research Bytes work?Thank you for your time and consideration and the work you do in liberation education.
Regards,
Kwane Andrews
Kwame, I am glad you find this work useful. We post most articles on the research lab website (www.es2rp.org). After a few clicks, you can access the full article there or more directly through ResearchGate (https://www.researchgate.net/publication/329337763_The_Snare_of_Systemic_Racism_and_Other_Challenges_Confronting_Hip-Hop-Based_Pedagogy). Thanks again!
